First Camping Trip!

Over Labor Day weekend we took a family camping trip to the Uhwarrie National Forest near Asheboro. Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Beth, Uncle Earl and Caleb's big cousins all came too! We went on a hike, swimming in the lake, bike riding, off-roading in Grandpa's pickup and enjoyed lots of S'mores around the campfire! We also took a daytrip to the NC Zoo - more about that in the next post! The weather was perfect and we all had such a good time! I can't wait to take Caleb camping again.

Here is the family drying off after swimming. Everyone is dying of laughter because Daniel just pooped on Grandma! (Everyone wanted me to take a picture of his "achievement", it was um, much larger than you would expect from a 1 year old!) Then he decided to relieve himself on the sidewalk. =) There is never a dull moment when there are 5 kids around!!!
